Hey Dudes (And dudette's),
I was wondering if someone could help me out - my passenger axle is effed right up. I can shake it with my bare hand by reaching down beside the engine. The replacement axle does not include the jackshaft support bearing, but I am thinking at 100k miles (160k kms) this should be replaced as well. How hard is this part of the process, is it necessary, and/or more importantly do you have to get the bearing and press it into there? The parts places around here dont have the part on file, and the Hyundai dealer wants 500 bucks for the bearing and bracket. They also want 500 bucks for the shaft, but I can get that at parts places for 150 bucks.
Let me know if you can help, because I am hella frustrated. :3_steam:
