My daughter got caught in some traffic last week for an hour or so. Bumper to bumper and slow moving. The car died. She got it restarted and moved off the freeway and it would run around 30 seconds and die again. I got her to a parking lot and had her turn it off and go inside and eat or something. I'm thinking the thing was over heating or something, but she said the temperature was below mid point on the gauge. She went back out and it started fine. Shes at college so I had her come and pick her up. I drove up the next morning and she got in the car and drove it back to her apartment with no problems.
That was last weekend. I took it to NTB and they chacked it over, but found no issues. Today she was on her way home from school, got caught in traffic, same issue. She got off the freeway and took back roads home. Car runs fine as long as your moving at a decent clip. No codes, not overheating, I don't have a clue. I have this weekend to fix it before she goes back to Waco. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
