Okay so I have sony explode interior speakers hooked up to a 300w pioneer amp, and 2 alpine 10 inch subs, 2 MTX Jackhammer 400w amps, one hooked up to each sub, and they're all from one power source seperated into three with a distribution block so 1 for each amp, same for the ground, now it almost seems that when my subs are only hooked up to one of the mtx amps they hit harder? They dont really seem to hit nearly as hard as they should, im running 8 gauge wire right from the battery tto the distribution blocks and 8 gauge from the blocks to the amps, could it be cause i need 4 gauge wire from the battery?
