Dry cell battery owners!!

To those of you with dry cell batteries, mainly optimas, how's your battery? In the market for a dry cell and I've been reading that the optima batteries are really good and have a 6+ year lifespan until recently when they started making them in Mexico (post 09). Just curious how long you've been running your dry cell and how it's performed..Don't really wanna spend $180 on a battery that's gonna last a year then take a crap.
