Control Arm Corrosion Recall

So there was a recall a few years ago addressing those who drove certain Hyundai models in the "salt belt" region. I happen to live in New Jersey. So in October 2009, I brought my car to the local dealership to address this recall. They told me the corrosion was not extensive enough for total replacement, but they would drill drainage holes, and apply "anti-corrosion" wax. It is now January 2012. I was driving in a traffic circle where I had an awesome driver cut right in front of me. I had to slam on my brakes, and there was no collision. As I started to drive again, my steering wheel immediately pulled to the right, and you could hear intense scraping/screeching. I was barely able to drive it to the local mechanic, and this is what we found:

As you can see, there was horrible corrosion to the point where the front lower control arm of the right wheel eventually broke/crumbled. This happened despite their efforts to correct the problem. Here are a few shots when the tow truck was trying to put it on the flat bed (PS Hyundai did not want to reimburse me for ANYTHING except the lower control arm, so that includes towing and further damage to my car due to the lower control arm)

D:

The reason why I'm posting this is
1) I'm extremely pissed that I was told that this problem was fixed
2) I want everyone who brought their car in for this recall to have it reinspected if it was not replaced. Thank God this happened at low speed, and not on the highway... who knows what would have happened!
