So I was driving recently and decided to open up my hood, I did and found a spill of coolant under the radiator and on top and there was two little whole sizzling spilling the coolant...i checked my fluid levels and they where extremely low -_- Unfortunately my baby is going to be out of commission but i order a new Mushimoto radiator and I am excited to get it this week.
I have some question however:
Why is it that radiators crack? I know its due to the pressure inside but is there certain things that make it more prone to cracking?
Also, I understand that the new radiator is going to keep my engine "30% cooler" but how does this benefit the engine other than keeping it cooler. I want to know a more technical side of it.
I just want to be informed :)
