Went to AutoZone to pick up some electrical wire for my pull shines I'm installing tomorrow, and as I was leaving, I saw some guy looking into my car.
Mind you, she is bone stock except for badges. Black 08 SE. He started asking me all about her, how much I paid, if they still make them, if the interior was stock, the whole nine yards. This went on for about 10 mins, then he thanked me and went inside. I got in my car and was about to leave when I saw him running, legitimately running, out of the store. I was kind of alarmed, thinking he just stole something or something bad was going on, so I turned down my radio and stuck my head of the window. That's when he preceded to ask my permission if he could take pictures of my car.
He took no less than 10 pictures. Of the badges, rear sides and front profile, headlights, interior, calipers, I mean everything. When I told him the local Hyundai dealership had an 08 GT with 16,000 miles for $15K, he said he would have to stop out and check them out.
I find this very funny because, like many of the guys from this area have already stated, there seems to be more and more Tiburons showing up in our area. Some with a lot more aftermarket mods then just Tuscani badges lol. It's such a confidence boost when someone takes an interest in your vehicle.... except when he asked if she had any get up and go haha
