I am in the middle of the timing belt swap and I am a bit stuck. I turned the engine by hand to get it at TDC then I used the breaker bar method to get the crankshaft pulley bolt off. I pulled the plug wires and gave the car a quick blip. I went around and the bolt was loose. Problem is, the car is no longer at TDC.
I put the bolt back on to turn it to TDC, and then can't get the bolt off again. What's the trick here??? I'm either over thinking this or something, I'm afraid of taking my timing belt off because I'm not at TDC and can't line things up!
