Yesterday a guy came to check out my Tib.
Long story short, he loved it, and is buying it from me tomorrow. He's so excited, he's been texting me already and ordered a few performance parts for it.
It's bittersweet, but I've done it all with the platform, and it's time to move on.
A 211whp N/A Build.
A 330whp Assassin build
A 340whp GT3071R Turbo I4 build.
A stanced/fitted Tibby.
Full autocross setup. And a track capable HPDE car.
I've lost my love for the GK platform. i've "been there, done that" over the course of 6+ years.
I know the insides and outs of the cars.
Not bragging, just saying the love is no longer there. I don't get excited driving my Tiburon anymore. So we're getting divorced.
I'm at a time in my life where being a dad is more important than having a car that just sits around and does not get driven but 200-300 miles a month.
But I think the new owner will share the same passion for the car that I've had over the years.
Newtiburon.com, you've been great. I'll still poke in & out, as I get a fair amount of PM's from people for technical advice, and engine building advice/how-to's.
So if you want a quote to have me build you an engine, please contact me through Facebook.

I'm still very in love with the KDM scene. It's nearing a 7 year mark for me as an owner, modder, racer, and enthusiast.
I'll be replacing the Tibby in a couple months with either a '13 Genesis Coupe, or a Veloster Turbo, I'm not sure yet.
But until then, it's my Hyundai Tucson :)
