I tested MaxiDAS DS708 on a few cars and worke very good. I am very satisfied. Mercedes 211 2004 the functions are almost same as DAS, but without details. Live data have factory comparation data,same as DAS.
Then i try on AUDI A8 2005 ,function is same like VAG Com or other scaner, btw every chanel and value have description.
Test on Renault laguna II ,i have acces at all control units, dtc,real data, active test functions alomost same with Clip.
Test on Ford Focus TDCI, have a menu like IDS and can acces every control unit and almost all functions.
Test on Opel Astra H 2005, when try to acess control units a mesage error come out (ecu unknown reference) and only read ,clear codes and live data function was available. I think with the new update MaxiDAS will be very powerful.
