I have a 2004 V6 auto tiburon (ovs with the tiprtonic or shifttronic what ever you call it) I have been noticing for some time now that when in tiptronic and also when in D that there seems to be a delay before going into gear. The best way i can explain it would be for example, when shifting from first to second lets say your shifting at 4000rpm i almost feel the need to let off the gas let it shift then give it gas again, beacuse if i just keep steady pressure on the gas the rpm will spike for example 4000rmp spike to 6000rpm before it goes into gear and that will cause a kind of jolt because instead of going into gear at 4000rpm it is now forced to go in at 6000rpm. (seems to happen in the the gears, but not all the time but enough to cause alarm).
It does not sound as if its slipping or grinding, it seems to shift fine just take a long time...
I did some searching on google and found alot of people talking about the issues with auto transmissions and really any transmission having to little fluid and also issues with to much fluid.
So i warmed up the car checked the dip stick looking at the hot line, and it did not reach it...but i find this dip stick really hard to read, so i then checked the little trans tank and it showed just above max full, and that cant seem right that the dip stick would be low but the tank high...
Anyway does anyone have any info for me or has had or does have this issue?
Thanks
