Hey there! I have a 2005 Tiburon 2.7L V6 that won't start. The battery is only about 1 month old and the car has had regular services.
For the past couple days I noticed the car would not want to start one minute and then a few hours later would start fine. I hopped in the car the other day and went to start it and nothing. No crank, nothing... I have charged the battery and tried it again, still nothing. I have pulled all the fuses and they were all good.
I saw a few threads about the Clutch Ignition safety switch that might be bad so I've been thinking about replacing it just in case. I also saw a bypass to get the starter relay to work so the car would start, I just recently tried that and when I put the wire on the pos term it just kinda clicks but still no crank. I hear the fuel pump kick in when I turn the key as well.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have a bit of mechanical aptitude but not the highest, so some extra (detailed) info would be more than helpful.
