I want to check this out with you all before I take my car to a dealer. Today while driving my 01 Tib, I went to shift gears and when I push on the clutch pedal, it went straight to the floor with no resistance and I was not able to shift gears without forcing it. (The pedal did spring back when I took my foot off of the pedal). I've not had any problem with the transmission since I bought it (Orginal Owner). I been seaching the internet and want to consult with some people about the issues it could be so when I take it in I am an imformed customer and don't get raped by the dealership. I found that it could be three simple things before looking at the clutch and transmission it self. 1) The master cyl is bad or leaking. 2) The slave cyl is bad or leaking. 3) Just low on DOT3 fulid. I am going to check the fulid level when it's daylight outside, and also going to have a friend look at the fluid tank to see if there is a change in pressure when the pedal is pressed. Should there be anything else I need to look at or know before taking it into the dealership? Any help would be appericated.:3_usehead
