How are you Guys and Gals...:)
I while back I was really wanting a good tablet but wanted to buy a good quality brand and I needed to fit it on my dash. A couple months later along came the Nexus 7....Happy Days!!
After saving my pennies I was able to buy one. Now it was time to install it in my Tib. The electrical was all pretty simple stuff if you've ever installed a car stereo before(I've done plenty:3_sadley:)...All I needed was an EQ(Clarion 7band for volume control) and a factory wire harness adapter. The hard part was making the tablet dock. It was all fiberglass work and I was out of practice...lol...It all went pretty well considering how rusty I was.
I'm still basically running a stock sound system except for the EQ and tablet. The speakers, amp and sub are all stocko. It sounds so much better with the Clarion EQ and I am not getting any engine noise through the speakers, a common issue for tablet installers but not me...:D
If anyone in the Riverside, Ca area is thinking about doing the same thing and you need some help/advice, send me a PM. I'd be happy to assist.
Anyway, I made a video showing you guys/girls the finished product. Hope you like it?
(I took a few pics too)
