So i wrote jattus a few days ago before i posted my last forum on here. This korni g they finally wrote me back. This is how the convo went,
Me:
Hi ive been going back and forth on if i wanted to turbo my 2005 hyundai tiburon 2.0 and i have been looking at your kits. My car is my daily driver. I drive about 50 miles a day. My questions are: How much will your stage 1 effect my gas milage? Will your stage 1 come with everything i need or will i need a wideband or any other items? Would you recomend your stage 1 for my daily driver? I learned about your kit through newtiburon.com and i know in the past there has been issues with fitment and not receiving all the parts. Is this still an issue as of todays orders?
Matt:
Hi Andrew, sorry for the late reply. The turbocharger kits won't effect your gas mileage when you are just cruising around economy style (e.g. light on throttle, shifting at lower rpm, etc.). I always recommend a wideband o2 sensor and a boost gauge to monitor, but its not required. Any of the kits are great for a daily driver. Everything has been ironed out as far as the development and process of kits. We are currently in the development of a new series of kits that are geared more towards economy and a smaller price tag. Stay tuned for the new kits. -Matt
I asked him when but no responce. I have been talking to another member on here about making me a custom kit and maybe start doing something like what duffer did. What do you guys think
