So I picked up a cheap set of 16" steel wheels to run in the winter. On the front they are verrry close to the brake calipers, so I ordered a set of 3mm wheel spacers just to give a little more clearance.
My question is whether to grease or anti-seize the back of the spacer where it contacts the hub. I'm reading mixed opinions online--some say to always do it to make it easier to take them back off, and that they've been doing so for xx years with no problem; others say to NEVER do it (though they don't really say why not).
Thoughts?
