my civic died recently and i doubt it can be fixed without a engine transplant, but really id rather just be done with it.
anyway, my tib just went from project car to my only car, and because i drive ALOT it is fast approaching the 200,000 mile mark.
i love this car. its fun and unique and unlike my dead civic, this car is not a pian to work on so it is definitely a car i can live with and want to keep for a while.
but i need a car that i can depend on for very long roadtrips and who knows what could happen after 10hrs of continuously driving a 200,000 mile engine.
that being said, should i be proactive & look into rebuilding or replacing my engine for future reliability?
or should i just find a second car to be my roadtrip car?
