Hi so I picked up a 2003 (4cyl) Tiburon just over a month ago and have noticed that the RPM's tend to stick when you let off the pedal between shifts. It also happens when you just rev the engine while parked.
It doesn't matter what the RPM's are at, if you let off the gas it sticks there for somewhere between 1-2 seconds then drops. At first I thought it might just be how Tiburons are but I'm thinking now that something is up.
I've checked the cables where they attached to the throttle body and manually rev'd it up...so I know it's not something sticking in the cable itself as it snaps back quickly when I let it go.
Any ideas? I tried searching and thought maybe a vaccume leak could be the cause...but have no idea how to try and track something like that down. Again, any help would be awesome.
Thanks in advance.
