so i have a 06 2.0, i have alot of mods and this just recently started happening but when i start the car itll rev up to about 3 grand and drop to about 1500 and do this repeatedly until i disengage the clutch and start driving. itll keep it up until i hit operating temp, i smell alot of fuel but my car has always ran rich, also it just started doing it after i installed my a/f ratio gauge. its throwing like 4 codes all that have to do with the 02 sensor, i replaced them and it kept it up, then i checked the codes again and im throwing a code for fuel trim, anyone have an idea how i could fix this and still keep my gauge, iv already unhooked it and everything is great but i dont want a empty pod.
oh and one last thing if i let my car idle for awhile or drive it then shut it off and try to start it right back up it hesitates and is sluggish and almost sounds like im running super lean, sputtering and misfires. is this all a fuel pump issue or maybe injectors? any help would be amazing. thanks
