im an expierenced driver with a clutch, but im kinda a newb when it comes to noticing when its time for a new one as weird as that sounds. my tib has 150,000 km on it. just starting to notice thats its starting to get hard to put the car into first, sometimes second and even reverse.
the lowdown: trying to put it into reverse, doesnt happen to often, the gear lever seems to stop and wont go in, but if i double clutch, or play with it a bit it will go in just fine
as far as first and second. sometimes i find it hard to put it into first, specially when i come to a red, sit in neutral then put it in first, like the reverse, i kinda have to play with it, eventualy it will go in, once i start to move, the clutch grabs pretty good, about half way up from the floor, maybe even before that, i go to shift into second, and the lever becomes a little bit "clumpy" and "vibrates" a bit. shift down to second doesnt really have an issue. other than that, all the other gears i have no problem getting into smoothly, up shift, down shifting, or grabbing. theres no slipping of the gears also.
any help is appreciated, thank you.
