Did a quick search, but didn't really turn up anything helpful. So hoping someone else has some insightful info.
Background info is that like Canada, all Australian tib's have the factory immobilizer installed, and I am looking to get a reflashed ECU after my mods are all done.
Anyway, what I want to know is if I swap my ECU out for one that has been flashed, will my immobilizer work, or is it going to just give me a load of problems?
What about if I get my ECU reflashed with one of NGM's reflash tools that go through the ODB2 port?? I found one thread where someone said this will work fine, but then I won't be able to use an ODB2 scanner to check codes etc afterwards. Any truth to this?
I realise that a tuner isn't going to be a problem, so I can use that for the tune, I was just hoping to also get the rev limit raised as well.
