Hey guys. I'm looking to buy this 06 SE v6. It's clean n nice. Only thing is its got a cm fx300 that chatters (according to the owner). I'm going to see the owner tomorrow n go for a drive, see how it feels. What I'm curious of is why it chatters, if anyone else has had this issue, and if there's a way to fix it. I'd be fine dealing with the noise, but if there was a way to fix it, that'd be awesome. Clutch n fw have 5K on em. I know that the clutch chatters till you break it in, but that only takes around 500-1000 miles.. I'm not a newbie, I've done my research n am also pretty knowledgable about tibbys. Some ppl say its the throw out bearing. Others say that it's normal. And some say its the fw either being warped or damaged. It chatters in low gears around 2500ish. I'll post an update after I go see it. I'd really like to get this car, and if I have to I'll replace the clutch or fw. Thanks guys.
