Guess what I got!?.............

GlowShift's Tineted 7 color series Oil Temp., Fuel Press., and Trans Temp. I got excited and just wired them up to light up just to look cool :D
The reason I got these three is because I cannot monitor these through the OBDII port with the program I have. So far I have those plus Vac/ Boost and Water Temp. I got the oil temp because in imo oil temp reflects engine temp overall the best. Today I installed the fuel press. sender and the oil temp sender and ran the wires in safe locations.
The oil sender was a pain because you have to mount it on a sandwich plate between the filter (OEM) and the outlet. I drained the oil and saw that it was pretty dark. I seafoamed the oil system about a week ago so maybe thats why. Plus I've been heavy on the pedal lately. After I installed it and ran the engine at first oil was dripping slowly between the plate and filter but after warmup all the gaskets expanded and the leak stopped. Im going to continue to monitor that for the next week till everything gets settled it.

The fuel press sender wasn't hard to install, just nerve racking. I had to relieve fuel pressure to cut the line at the rail and was afraid that even with clamps installed tight, at startup the 40+ psi was going to blow the adapter off and spray gasoline all over the engine. But.....that wasn't the case. After a good hour of installing, checking and rechecking, I started her up and the fuel pressure spiked to almost 60 psi!. After a few seconds it settled at about 55-58 psi. Is that normal for closed loop?:wtf:

For the past few hours I've been wiring up the pod so tommorrow I can just connect everything. I took the liberty of relocating the 5 terminal blocks I had mounted behind the center facia to under the plastic panel below the steering wheel....
