just purchased (2) 17" BF Goodrich DR's, $60, couldn't refuse @ "the tire place"...and i have some questions from those who've owned sticky tires:
1) should i be worried about breaking anything? i.e. axles?
*road temp's right now are cold due to crappy weather so i can't test anything YET. which is good and raises question #,
2) once they're installed, whats the tread life expectancy lets say..if driven on a daily bases, NO launching, throughout the summer?
3) i have a completely stock suspension, no mount inserts, SS or any bushings, what rpm's should i launch at(currently without these "parts")? and what would key differences is there with how(what rpm) i launch with solid motor mounts and lowering springs and a short shifter? i know the suspension is a major modification so untill then im not sure i will get the most out of the tires.
