Here is some background...brand new OEM clutch installed 2 weeks ago due to Clutchmasters Stage IV 6-Puck clutch TOB taking a **** on me. Fidanza lightweight flywheel installed. Only 8K miles MAX was put on clutch before going out. I had the mechanic hit my flywheel with a buffing disc since its basically brand new. When the TOB went out it took my slave and master with it. All parts replaced.
Current mods on my Tibby: B&M STS, Delrin Shifter Bushings, Injen SRI, Fidanza LW Flywheel, TEIN Lowering Springs, ARK Racing Strut Bars, and Optima Battery. All I can remember for now.
Now the problem...when I first got my car back it did not want to go into first gear. It felt "squishy" if that makes any sense. The shifter normally clicks/locks into each gears gateway very smoothly. He bleed the clutch again and it seemed better afterwards. Now it seems to be getting worse. Now first, third, and fifth all have the same problem. The shifter just goes "up" and there is no defined feeling of it being in gear. First is the worst, I actually have to hold and push it up into gear to actually take off in first. I've been skipping first all together and using second here lately. I don't know a whole lot about manual transmissions but it wasn't having this issue with my Clutchmasters clutch previously...although I'm pretty sure this has nothing to do with the clutch itself.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...too much money and work has gone into this car as of late. Thanks guys! Also I'm in the ATL area, so if anybody is local hit me up and let me know about meets or get togethers.
