Did my stock radio take a dump?

This car knows I'm preparing to sell her, and so apparently she's not going down without a fight.

I've had a blown speaker for a while, so I was going to replace that in preparation for the sale. It's been about three weeks since the last significant drive (i.e., not just musical cars in the garage/driveway or a maintenance startup), and the radio was definitely working then. This radio has never given me power problems, ever.

This morning, I disconnected the battery to clean the connectors under the driver's seat. Finished that up, and reconnected the battery to begin the speaker work. First step: verify which speaker is blown ... so I turned on the power and the HU won't turn on! Buttons light up just fine, but nothing happens when I hit the power button. (Not sure if I have a CD in there, but if I do, the CD-in light wasn't on either.) Checked the fuse; fuse is good. Even though interior lights are working, I checked the Room L/P fuse (that infamous one hiding in the yellow thing) anyway, since I knew you guys would tell me to, lol ... that one's fine too.

Any thoughts/ideas/suggestions before I start tearing into the center console? Last thing I need is to cause more problems while I'm troubleshooting....
