Yes, it's for real. My Tib is officially for sale!
I'm posting it here first, for my fellow Tib folks -- who would most truly appreciate this vehicle and all it has to offer -- to have the first chance at it.

Why, Stimpy, why??
I changed jobs back in August, which is now a 152-mile roundtrip commute. I decided it was time for a new car (reference my Sonic LTZ Hatchback thread) ... so, tragically, it's time to let the ol' Tib go.
The Car
2004 GT-V6, 6-speed manual.
The Mileage
Mileage is 145K, almost all of which are highway. In the beginning, I was driving 110 miles a day round trip to work, and after moving closer, it was still 50 miles a day -- highways all the way. This has been a Florida-only car, so the roads are flat, straight, and boring ... and thereby minimal on the wear & tear.
The Care
I am the original owner -- bought it brand new from the dealership in March 2004. Ask any of the Florida members who've been to our meets (hoping some of you may chime in here), and they will vouch for the meticulous care I've taken of this car over the years. It's always been garage kept, and I cover it at work during the day in the summers. Full disclosure time: since the info is public out here on the forum anyway, this car did get caught in a hailstorm -- but was restored by a very detailed-oriented -- and VERY EXPENSIVE -- body shop. These repairs included the addition of a CF hood and a COMPLETELY new paint job.
The Mods
This vehicle has over $6000 in mods! Please keep this in mind when discussing price.

The Service & Mechanical
Service has always been kept up to date. Dealership did most of the services while the car was still under warranty, and all other major services (beyond my skill) were performed by certified technicians. Oil changes are still done regularly at the dealership (they do it for free). Speaking of warranty, the dealership replaced the entire transmission at 80,000 miles (bizarre synchro problem), so the current tranny has only 67,000 miles on it -- and running with Redline MT-90 gear oil. It has no grinding issues (like my original one did), so I expect it to continue to last.
Over the life of the vehicle, I've replaced an assortment of other components associated with regular wear & tear (and the occasional unexpected but not too serious issue), to keep it in tip-top shape including:
-- Clutch Slave Cylinder
-- Clutch Master Cylinder
-- Clutch Ignition Safety Switch
-- CD player (OEM)
-- Fuel Pressure Regulator
-- Trunk Lifting Struts
-- Brakes (only had to do them once -- haven't I mentioned it's all highway miles on flat straight roads?)
Within the last three months, other recent R&Rs for maintenance:
-- Struts
-- Rear tires (fronts are also in excellent shape)
-- Spark plugs & wires
-- Crankshaft position sensor
-- Fuel pump
-- Ignition coil
-- MAF Sensor
Additionally, the current clutch has less than 5000 miles on it. (It's probably closer to 2500, but I don't have my paperwork handy at the moment.)

The Interest?
If you have any questions, by all means, post here or PM me.
If you're a serious potential buyer, come see it! I'll be happy to spend adequate time with you to walk you through the vehicle & its hardware -- literally from bumper to bumper. I've loved this car dearly and I want YOU to also. (You will!)
I will absolutely miss this car -- I can only hope whoever takes her off my hands receives the same joy from it that I have, and will care for it like I have.
Thanks for looking!
