My First Official mod ive ever done in my entire life. (New headunit!)

So christmas passed by and shortly after was boxing day, without even expecting it i found a new JVC headunit. I had an Crappy Pioneer one that i guess served me well for the time being,however i had not much complaints.

This JVC deck had pretty good features that caught my eye, such as;
Bluetooth connectivity, Android/Blackberry/Iphone connect (Not really sure what it is for however since i use aux) , Microphone, Remote control, 2 USB outputs, Aux cable, output of 50W per speaker, so a total of 200Watts, Pandora internet streaming, satellite radio ready, and other cool stuff like customizable colour themes etc.

The one most i needed was the certain output wattage, and seperate subwoofer control.
Found it at future shop for $120, spend 2 days taking my time soldering and installing while not knowing what the hell im doing (Kidding i took my time doing research learning to connect where to what).

And well, heres some photos!

At first i had extreme difficulty due to my somewhat half colour blindness (not being able to tell shades of colours from apart of each other) and i later on figured out how the diagram worked that came in the manual and that helped me all the way.

Later on i installed it and it was working great except i noticed my subwoofer was not working and there was one metallic blue coloured remote amp wire that i did not know where to connect. At this point i almost went to future shop to ask them to help me out, but i removed my headunit and finally figured out where it goes and bam! everything works beautifully!

Since i couldnt figure a better way to deal with the features like aux cable and usb sitting on the REAR of the headunit, such as pulling them through the glove box (which is closed....)

I drilled a hole through the holster, opened it up and pulled my USB and Aux cable right through!
I do say, i enjoy my music twice as much now just because of how clear it is and how i can finally have a seperate bass control for my subwoofer :)

Sorry for being so explanatory about this, it is my first time doing a "Big" mod by myself, (Other than installing a DIY lip kit :D)

Anyways, for the moneys worth I LOVE IT!
