In case any one is interested:
A couple of months ago I had a Valeo single mass flywheel clutch kit installed in my 2006 V6 6 speed.
I substituted the Valeo clutch plate with a Clutchmaster stage 2 kevlar clutch plate. I did this as I have some minor performance mods (NGM stage 4 IM and Stage 1 cams with a few other things), so I wnated to extend the life of the clutch.
The mechanic told me there were no fitment problems at all.
The clutch seems a bit lighter than stock and feels very good to drive. There is no chatter and I think less vibration when idling. - there used to be a bit of cam type vibration when idling before I put the new clutch in.
I got the Valeo clutch kit for a very good price on eBay.
