How can i fix this dent?

Hi, guys.

This morning when I was about to drive to lunch, I realized my car got a dent on the passenger side door on the upper side right below the window.
I think someone kicked the door from the side.
I took my car to the auto shop. They quoted about $1000 to fix.
I was like... what the...
They told me that they will need to open the door interior panel and drill a holl on the metal to push the dent out.
Because I didn't have time to go here and there.. so I'm not sure what other shops have to say.
Is there any tool that I can use by myself to pull the dent out from outside without opening the door panel?
