Hello, about 9 months in the summer thar was running rough, misfiring, and somehow causing the entire car to rock back and forth. We gave it a tune up new wires. plugs, and ignition coil pack. It's started acting up again with the same symptons as last, implying a misfire on a cylinder(s) only there is no CEL code to offer me any sort of input on what I should be looking or. I went out on a whim and just an hour replaced the ignition coil pack, it's seems to be performing a bit better but I can still hear that the engine is obviously not running smoothly and is still a bit slow when I step on the gas. The actual performance itself is spotty at best there will be time where I step on the gas and the car will jsut inch forward, same behaviour before I gave it that tuneup back in the Summer. Well in any case I haven't drove it around much in the last hour just up the street but I've come to the conclusion it is not the coil pack (I originally assumed it was since it was a cheaper one with only a 1 year, 12k mile warranty but as I said this was solely a whim)
I think its also worth noting that I at one point in time had issues with the BCM but for wahtever reason after I twisty tied several wires together it went back to working fine, perhaps a frayed wire or something was the cause, not sure if it would be related to this though, but i guess it's worth noting. Occasionally all the electronics will briefly turn off then abck on. Not overly worried about it to be honest.
