2004 5-speed tranny in a 2003?

Hi everyone,

I have a 2003 GT V6 5-speed transmission that needs to be changed.
Would a tranny from a 2004 V6 fit?
Also what mods do I need to make if I chose to put in a 6-speed instead of a 5-speed?
