Well What I feared may be the culprit of my tibs problems may be coming to light. This morning I was barely 5 minutes out of my driveway when my tib lost all power and just barely started inching forward. I've had some cooling issues over the last few days such as antifreeze/coolant/water seemingly vanishing from the radiator I think it's pretty clear where it had been going. The exaust has a funny smell to it similar to rotten eggs, and when I took teh radiator cap off antifreeze sprayed everywhere, This is a bit of a bind for me, I'm in between jobs and I highly doubt my parents will have the money to help me get it sorted out. but should I chose to get it fixed im almost wondering if it'd be more worth my while to get a new motor replaced instead of paying someone a couple thousands to fix my headgasket (I Called a mechanic and they said it would ber about 1500-1700$ Seems a bit to be steep if the truth be told.
Any suggestions? I mean 1500 I could sell it to a seasoned DIY mechanic who could fix it up and drive around for ages.
