Hi all,
I'm looking for a small foot print amp that will sit behind a panel / dashboard that kind of thing.
I'm also looking for a sub set up that I can easily hide either under the floor or under the seat, something like that.
I'm also looking to upgrade the front door speakers / tweets, any thoughts?
What I think is I will need a 4-channel amp, the front two channels for the door speakers / tweeters and then I can bridge the other two channels for the sub.
As said I would like a fully hidden system so that it isn't obvious that I have done any upgrades.
If it helps, I have just ordered a Kenwood Double Din Head Unit, it has front, rear & sub pre-out.
I have seen a couple of space saving solutions but I have not seen anything that I can see working.
Finally, don't worry about budget, I just want something that sounds good, for me the Vibe system that I have in my RD2 at the minute is more than good enough, I just need a bit more bass. (So maybe we can steer away from £200+ front components, I'd rather spend the money on the brakes :-))
RD2 Setup: Vibe Front Components, Vibe 6x9's, JBL 4-channel Amp
Any help would be appreciated as I'm really not sure what to go with :-)
EDIT: Just thought, could I get away with running the components off of the head unit and just have a mini sub / amp combo?
