Ok I know this has been discusses numerous times but I have not been able to find my answer thus far.
Yesterday I completed the Slave Cylinder DIY. My fiances father and I bled the clutch. He said he did not see any more bubbles anymore and said everything looked pretty good. After every thing was said and done I headed home for the night. I could feel a difference and definitely noticed the reduction in clutch slippage in the higher RPM range.
This morning i get in my car and have a hard time getting the car in reverse. I have to depress the clutch all the way to the floor just to get it in gear. From what I have read some people were having similar experiences. Someone suggested trying to readjust the clutch pedal but I don't think that is my issue.
Basically I can push the clutch pedal in 3 inches or so and nothing will happen. Before the DIY the clutch would start engaging after i pushed the clutch in an inch or 2. I will say there is not much play from the floor up. Basically there i not much motion on the clutch pedal from when the clutch is completely depressed and released when the clutch will engage.
I will also note the the master cylinder reservoir is full and I put some DOT3 fluid in the brake reservoir since it looked low. Of course I am assuming that reservoir is directly behind my intake on the driver side. Anyways if yall have any advice let me know.
