Hey everyone! It's been a few months since I was last active here. Moved from the east coast to the west coast! Well anyway, I've had a CEL the last few weeks, and I got a lean bank air sensor code. Now I need to do a smog check, and tried to figure out if I had a loose hose, and discovered (and worstened) the top tube from my stock intake was ripped. I think it's called an "intake boot", the stock tubing that goes from the MAF to the throttle.
Nobody in my area has them, or an aftermarket one that would fit. Dealership said $50 and they can order one. I was wondering if anyone here had one they would let go for less, or have any suggestions.
I'm also contemplating instead of paying 50 for that one tube, I can spend 70 on piping for a CAI instead, but if I still get the CEL afterword it would suck to still have to spend more.
So please let me know of you have one or have a suggestion! Ill be checking regularly and put on email alerts!
Thank you!
