Tiburon track car? or something else

Whats goin on everyone. I don't post a whole lot on here, but I'm ALWAYS doing reading haha

As of recently, I've wanted to start racing on the track. There's CSCS that a few friends of mine already compete in, and since it looks like so much fun, I wanted to join in.

Most of them race civics, integras etcc, with an integra coming in first place last year iirc.

One of the guys was tellin me to just race my tib, but I don't think it could even compete without serious mods, which aren't cheap for our cars. Plus I don't like the idea of making my dd my track car.

If any of you were to race your tib in something like this, what would be your idea for necessary mods?

Ive already got CAI, but that's it.



I would guess... ported intake manifold, header, exhaust, bigger fuel injectors, tune + raceland coilovers or something like that

But for the cost of tib parts, I could build up a sweet civic.

Seems like parts are like a quarter of the price, and found everywhere. If it was a second car, id gut the whole back seat/trunk. Remove ac, all blower fans, anything not necessary...

Whats everyones opinion?

I'd hate to damage my tib on the track haha
