i went down and picked it up on saturday and boy is it a fun ride ...let me refresh any memories of what i was getting
2003 black on black GT v6 auto, miles were different than what i thought, it has 119,000 on it
it's all stock, great shape inside and out, no damage anywhere, seats and everything inside are great ..no dents or scratches on the body .... this car is good ,and was taken well care of .. it is going to be my everyday driver .. my main vehicle,
there are a couple of things wrong that i already knew about...and they are
both windows will not work
when filling with gas it takes a bit due to it shutting the pump off from vacum hose thingy??
and the gas cap door is faded, from the sun maybe ??
other than that this thing runs like a banshee , sunroof works fine ....it has brand new tires and new battery , the tint on both door windows was starting to peel so i went out there this morning and took the tint off both doors and will get them re tinted ... the first thing i did this weekend was get an oil change done and it needed inspection ( passed with no problems at all ) as the previous owner was not driving it because they got a brand new car, other than the couple of issues it has it seems to be in good shape, i do however think a little charge on the A/C might be in order ...
i dont really plan on modding too much, i would like to get some rims and tires of course and maybe some exhaust done just to make it sound really good ... im not going to be racing around in it or showing off etc... i just want it to be a good car that looks nice and sounds nice and really nice to look at ..... it's funny, when i was getting it inspected and having the oil change there was a guy who came up too me and told me how he used to have an 04 tib and how much he missed his ( he said his girlfriend wrecked it ) , and he was telling me how nice and good ahape my was in etc .... when i told him what i paid he could not believe it
i will see about getting some pics up sometime later,
im glad to finally get the car picked up my job keeps me gone and it was driving me crazy having to wait few weeks to get it ...i feel better now ...haha
