Seats getting worn out. Covers or reupholster?

I have had my tiburon for about 2 years and getting in and out has taken its toll on my seats. I am looking to change them. I have the black cloth seats with the houndstooth inserts. I have seen covers but I'm not sure if it would just be better to get the seats reupholstered and fix the padding in the seat as well. Just wondering what others have done so I can make a good choice.
