Lol, so long story short, was at my neighbors shop getting an axle replaced and an alignment and it was brought to my attention that the "thing that the cams hit" (they were translating from Spanish to English) needed to be adjusted.
I did some research and figure they meant the valve lash? I then did further research and found that they should be adjusted every 60k miles or so... Engine has arounnd 70k so it's due for an adjustment.
Any tips or fancy tricks for doing it? I've read that the engine should be hot... Another cold... Another semi warm... Things like that. Also, where do I buy feeler gauges? I went to AutoZone and they looked at me as if I was asking for pot or something lol.
Ps. I'm not THAT mechanically retarded, but it's been a while since i've done any engine work so any tips are appreciated. :)
