i got a tiburon with a sunroof, and the factory stuck like 6 or 7 tabs of velcro on the headliner around the sunroof opening to hold it up.
well when i took down my sunroof, the glue on 2 or 3 of the velcro tabs got loose. I went to the store, got the Velcro brand super-strong strips, cut them, stuck them, and they don't work. they're just not sticky enough to hold up the headliner.
anybody know of some kind of super-sticky velcro? the glue that they put on the back of the velcro just doesn't cut it. yes i made sure to wipe down the surfaces that i was sticking to with rubbing alcohol.
anybody else have this problem? or know an answer? there's gotta be some industrial-strength velcro that more closely matches what hyundai used to manufacture the vehicle.
