Ok guys, first of all my english is horrible, im from el salvador and my main language is spanish...title says timing belt but is the drive belt
Ok, on thursday i got my car outta the painting shop...i bought my car in the U.S with "salvage title"....3 months ago i put the car into a painting shop to be repaired..car was ready to roll 4 days ago and the air conditioning compressor wasnt working....the mechanical told me that air conditioning compressor was broken...i mean...cant not be fixed.....ok then mechanical put a new drive belt.....everything was ok till today......i went out for a walk with my car but few minutes later i started to hear a weird noise...stopped the car to check and the drive belt was destroyed.......mechanical came to check my car and he told me that i need to replace the air conditioner pulley becuz it has sharp edges..looks like someone else tried to fix the pulley before......or just change the whole air conditioning system...but right know i dont have the money to do that....as a second choice the guy told me it can be placed a shorter drive belt. to cancel the air conditioner pulley...
as i can see in this timing belt diagram, i can do that, check out the "without air conditioner" diagram
