need help with a noise

ok guys long time no see. 5 years ago my 2003 tuscani 6 speed had a clutch done under warrenty. this was the second clutch job this car has had. we dove the car for a year with no issues. one day the wife noticed it was making a noise so she went to the dealer. they told her it needed a new transmision and would cost 7 to 8k. I had other things on the go so we parked the car for 4 years. just to let you know I have been a mechanic for 10 years but on big trucks.

It sounds like a TOB. car at idle you hear a bad bearing noise. push in the clutch pedel and it goes away. Now I have the trans out and the 2 plates of the clutch. poped the TOB out and the bearing spins nice and makes no noise. I have never worked on a FWD before. I dont have the fly weel off, and I cant really tell anything when I spin the input shaft on the trans by hand. the car was never raced, but has had afew wheel spins in its earlyer years. right now it has 90k km's on it. are the trans known for having bad input bearings? what could be the issue here? I was going to just put a stage 2 clutch and new flywheel on it as I plan on boosting this car in the next year or so.
