Hey Guys,
I've kinda been wrapping my head up against a wall with these two codes recently.
I'm turbo'd with the SMT-6 installed last year (Jattus kit, with the second fuel rail)
P0132 - Heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) 1, bank 1 – high voltage Wiring short to positive, HO2S, ECM Oxygen sensor (O2S) 1, bank 1 – high voltage Wiring short to positive, O2S, ECM
P0560 System voltage – malfunction Wiring, poor connection, battery, alternator
for P0560 I have checked all my grounds, scraped paint off where there was paint before, put a thick ground strap from the battery ground right to the metal of my strut tower (where two grounds are from the SMT-6 install) and its still giving me that code!
On a diagnostic run I also got codes P0300/01/02/04 all misfire codes for cylinders. (It was running kinda rough!)
For P0132 I did extend the 02 sensor (the one behind the rad fans) but I extended it AFTER the plug (I mean from the sensor out).
Okay, so....
Question 1)
For P0132, could this be caused do to the secondary 02 sensor behind the oil pan not being put back in EXACTLY the right spot as the stock one? We got it pretty close I thought, but I didn't measure it....
Question 2)
For P0560, short of opening up all the wiring loom and looking for an open which will be a severe PITA I am imagining, could these two problems (codes P0132 and P0560) be directly related? ie if I fix
P0132 (moving the secondary 02 sensor?) could it fix P0560 without me having to undo all the loom and check for open wires?
Your help is greatly appreciated NT.
