No this is not a noob thread asking "Wut is da difrense beetween da 8000K, 6000k, an da 10000K numbrz dat r on da opshuns 4 bulb culor?"
I've had my 8000 Kelvin HIDs on for about a year now and I love them. It's even my favorite mod on my Tib as of yet. But as of lately I've been seeing a change in the color of my passenger side bulb. 8000K is a pretty distinguishable blue which is what my drivers side has stayed at perfectly. However, my passenger side headlight has turned almost fully white. It has not gone dim or even brighter to a noticeable degree, but it has changed color to about a 5500K or 6000K which is really obvious and looks pretty ghetto.
So I'm wondering if this could be caused by a flaw in the bulb over time, a different amount of power going to one headlight over the other, or could it be a flaw in the actual kit. It is the Diode Dynamics kit without a battery relay, for extra information.
Any ideas out there fellow NT members? Thank you in advance.
