Scratches in windshield

So i've seen a few videos online about getting very minor scratches out of windshields, ones that are visible enough to be annoying, but not too deep so you feel it with your fingernail. i've got a few on the tiburon and also my 66 chevy. No video or article i've seen yet has given examples of what kind of rubbing compound or product they use, they just say use a light rubbing compound/cerium oxide/etc. Does anyone know of any brands like 3m or turtle wax that sell something like this for glass or where the hell i can go to pick something up. I found this online but not sure if it'd be ok to use:
