Engine loses power on and off rondomly

I've been having really bad power loss issues lately. At first my CEL came on and I couldn't rev the motor nomore than 3k rpm. I had it tested and was told I had a misfire on cyl 2 and something about a small pressure leak (the kind a bad gas cap can cause). Having read about the 3k rpm problem before on here I went a head and replaced the Crank Sensor and the Throttle Positioning Sensor. I also replaced the gas cap and replaced the 3 front plugs and wires since they were easy to get to (gaps set to .042). Replacing all of this solved the 3k rev problems; however, now the motor feels like it loses half it's power at random as I'm driving. it will run perfect and have full power then maybe a few miles down the road it feels like it only has the power of a geo metro. it's weird.

I have a new coil-pack coming in a few days thinking maybe it's just a faulty coil acting up. I checked every ground I could find (the braided ground on the firewall to the upper intake is fine). There's also what appears to be a ground wire that attaches to the coil-pack bracket...that too is good and tight. If the new coil pack doesn't work I'm at a loss of what to do next. My speedometer works fine so I don't think it's the speed sensor. One more thing, I also notice a horrible rotten egg smell whenever I get on it pretty hard. The CEL is also still on. I'm going to get it rechecked tomorrow to see what codes it's throwing this time. One more thing...I also cleaned the MAF sensor with MAF cleaner. I put it all back together the same way and made sure the wiring connection is secure and the wire itself has so slack so it's not being pulled tight.

2003 GT (6-speed manual)
223k on the car and exhaust system
44k on the replacement engine
