Recently my car has been starting random spikes of overheating and I'm not sure what's causing it. I was at a stop light and noticed that my temperature gauge was slowly climbing up to hot. It completely went to hot, then I drove a little bit and the gauge went back to normal (which is a little bit above the middle). It did it every 10 minutes and I did a coolant flush and replaced the thermostat. I took my car for a cruise after that and it was fine. The next day I take the car out for a spin, the thermostat jumped again, and has jumped a few times today.
Anyone have any idea of what it could be? Could it be a problem with cooling or could it just simply be an electrical issue (a sensor or fuse)??
