Stock Clutch treatment...

I just want to share this with anyone still on the first clutch for any Tib. I have a 07 V6 Tib with about 55000 miles. I just had my clutch changed to a Stage 2 F1 with lightweight Flywheel. I got to see what the stock looked like after it was changed. I have never seen or even read about a cluthc messing up the way mine did. I knew there was a problem when there became too much freeplay between shifts and when I lost the feeling of the tranny catch.

The sight of the stock clutch was:

The back of the pressure plate had many "wobble" wear marks that were caused from it hitting the bell housing, the throwout bearing was about to fall off the PPlate, the clutch itself was fine (surprisingly) but the huge issue was the flywheel.....now that was a sight to see in itself. Thankfully the middle bolts never sheared but the machined part of the flywheel had rotated and covered the holes to get the bolts out, the machined part also started separating from the rest.... the only good thing left on the flywheel was the ring gear.......

Just wanted to give a note to anyone. The stock clutch assembly sucks and should be changed as soon as you feel some issues (dont waste your money while its still good). Also do NOT go with another stock clutch.

Stay safe fellow Tib owners and I'm surprised there was never a recall for the damage that happens with the stock flywheel
