service time :)

Hey all

Just been doing the annual service of my v6 tib. My car had a nice squeak from the gear shifter and notcied the grease used in the factory had gone hard and dried. The shifter feels much better now.

Same with the hand brake, when I pulled the handle up you would get a load creeking sound from the mechanism and yes the factory grease has dried up also here.

Also I got rid of my factory alarm and remote locking and replaced it with an aftermarket.
Now I have a nice flips key with remote trunk opener.
This also allowed me to do a few mods. I installed leds so when I unlock my car the exterior door handles light up and also the park light ans tail light come on for around 20 seconds.

Also I added a small relay so when I have the front wipers switched on and selected reverse, it automatically swtiches on the rear wiper.

Anyone else got any cool ideas while I am at it?
